Brandi Oliver

Owner

Brandi Oliver, the dynamic owner of Turf Bar, brings a wealth of experience from her background in the hospitality industry. After acquiring the iconic Turf Lounge in 2017 and rebranding it as Turf Bar, Brandi leveraged her expertise to transform the venue into a modern hotspot. With a kitchen added in late 2018, her culinary creativity took off, resulting in a renowned bar food menu and unique private event offerings in the Mullet Room. The positive response to her food led to the launch of catering services, and with the completion of a new catering kitchen in 2024, Brandi and her team are now poised to handle custom and larger offsite events with the same dedication and flair that define Turf Bar.

Head Chef

Chef Matt Schlarmann, a graduate of L’Ecole Culinaire, has a deep passion for local and sustainable cuisine. With a decade of experience in St. Louis restaurants, including five years honing his skills at Chaumette Winery in Ste. Genevieve, he has returned to his roots in Clinton County. Now, at Turf, surrounded by friends and family, Chef Matt is delighted to share his culinary expertise with the community.

Catering Coordinator + Office Administrator

With a deep passion for helping people and nurturing growth, Mary has had the privilege of managing successful teams in both corporate and small business settings for over a decade. Her journey includes designing and overseeing operations of The Red Porch Café, where the cafe continues to provide meaningful employment to adults with disabilities, and founding Quite Contrary, a small cottage bakery known for its gourmet cupcakes and baked goods. She also brings experience in planning both large and small events, high organization, as well as policy development and strategic planning. Now, as part of the Turf Catering team, she is delighted to be a part of delivering high quality food and exceptional service in her hometown and surrounding communities.
